Our Dress to Impress service leads to success
If you need a smart outfit for an interview or some new work clothes, our team can help. We can provide you with a suitable work outfit which you get to keep. We are also able to offer personal interview coaching and techniques to help you prepare for an interview. When Golding resident, Venetia, was invited to attend a job interview she was absolutely delighted. However, she soon realised she didn’t have anything suitable to wear to the interview that would provide the professional impact she was looking for. Venetia had heard about Golding’s Dress to Impress service through her initial contact with our Workwise Team when we helped rewrite her CV.
After finding out more about Venetia and the job she had applied for, Jenny Fairweather, Employment Caseworker at Golding Homes, arranged to meet Venetia at the Dress to Impress area located within the Abacus store in Shepway. Once Venetia had chosen a suitable outfit, Jenny was able to give some interview coaching and advice to help Venetia feel more confident.
Venetia said: “Jenny was lovely and made me feel really comfortable, which made a real difference. We looked through the range of clothing, and Jenny helped me to select a red jacket which was perfect for the interview. I feel much more confident now, with my new outfit and the coaching I was given, thank you”.
