Teenage Parent Unit

Willowbrook Place is a purpose built Teenage Parent Unit offering accommodation and housing related support to young people between 16-21 years olds who are pregnant and/or have dependent children.  It comprises six self contained apartments, communal facilities including a kitchen/dining area, two sitting rooms and an office.

The service which is delivered by our Support Services Team and funded by Kent County Council, is designed to help young parents manage their tenancy, develop their life and parenting skills, encourage independent living and reduce homelessness.

Any organisation can refer a young parent to the service and self referrals can also be made by using the Willowbrook Place referral form [pdf] . If completing this on a self referral basis please write 'self' under the Source of Referral on page 2.

“It is a brilliant support opportunity for the young parents, especially if they don’t have family around them.”
