County Lines is the term used when criminal gangs set up a drug-dealing operation in a place outside their usual operating area. Gangs will move their drug dealing from big cities such as London to smaller towns such as Maidstone in order to make more money. This can have a really big effect on the community who live there and bring with it serious criminal behaviour.
The gangs will target vulnerable people or drug users and set up a base in their properties.
Golding Homes are determined to make sure that this does not happen in our properties and encouraging staff and residents to report any suspicious activities such as young people seemingly to have moved in with a neighbour or lots of comings and goings of people from a property.
Suspicions should be reported to the Police on 101.
