What should I do if I have pests in my home?
It’s your responsibility to remove pests unless your tenancy or lease agreement says otherwise. For some pests you might be able to treat the problem yourself. We've put some information below around specific types of pests that you may find useful.
You must take reasonable steps to avoid an infestation of insects, pests or vermin in your home or in common areas. If we have to deal with a pest problem that’s a direct result of a customer failing to take reasonable steps, we may recharge them the cost.
