CGI of proposed design

Spring 2026 update:

  • Phase 1 works continue to progress well, with internal finishing, carpentry, and kitchen installations underway. External works are advancing, and scaffolding has now been removed from several areas.
  • Phase 2 is taking shape, with the first levels of the new buildings visible and foundation and groundworks continuing across the site. The new site haul road is nearing completion, improving access for construction activity.
  • The Regeneration Team are preparing for the final rehousing stage, Phase 3 decant, for residents of Northumberland Court, which is expected to begin between April and May.

Summer 2025 update: 

  • Phase 1 works are progressing well with the roofs being fitted to the houses in the coming weeks.
  • Skillcrown appointed as contractor for Phase 2. Demolition is in progress to make way for 57 new homes, replacing the existing 40.

Spring/Summer 2024 update:

  • Skillcrown have signed the contract for Phase 1. Hoarding has been put up and alternative access to the local businesses has been provided.
  • Demolition is underway on site to deliver 114 properties from 40.
  • Phase 2 decant is planned for Summer 2024.
