OPAL - Older People, Active Lives
The OPAL service is available to customers living in our sheltered housing and helps them to continue to live independently in their own homes and maintain their tenancy.
Our OPAL Advisors can offer you advice on how to report a repair and keeping your home to a reasonable standard, how to pay your rent and your rights under your tenancy agreement. They'll also keep you safe by carrying out regular health and safety checks of the communal areas in your scheme and annual tests of your Golding Lifeline equipment. We offer a range of accommodation for those 55 and over who wish to continue to live independently in an easier to manage home. Each home is equipped with a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom and many have been adapted for those with disabilities. They're also fitted with a Golding Lifeline ; an emergency alarm system which enables you to call for help in an emergency 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
