Fly Tipping Removal
Fly tipping is illegal. If you dispose of waste illegally, you could face a fine of up to £50,000 or even a prison sentence. Kent Police also have the power to seize vehicles involved in fly tipping offences.
At Golding Homes, we have a duty to remove fly tipped waste from our land. Our dedicated team responds to all reports of fly tipping in communal areas and on Golding land, with an average turnaround time of just three days from report to collection.
In 2024, our team attended 3,631 fly tipping sites. The cost of clearing this waste was £152,639, money that could have been better spent improving homes with new kitchens, windows, and doors.
We take fly tipping seriously and will take action whenever we have evidence identifying where the waste came from. To learn how to dispose of your waste responsibly, visit our responsible waste disposal page.
We also work closely with District and Borough Councils across Kent, sharing information with their Waste Enforcement teams to help tackle the problem.
When reporting fly tipping, please provide as much information as possible such as vehicle details, dates, and photos to help us keep our communities clean and safe.
