Community Larder open in Park Wood
Another Community Larder is open for local residents in Park Wood who might be struggling to afford to buy food.
We've again partnered with Maidstone Borough Council to create the larder which is open at the Rosemary Graham Day Centre in Somner Walk on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to 1pm.
Park Wood residents will be warmly welcomed with a hot drink and a smile from the team, and for a small donation of £3 per visit they can choose up to 12 items from the store and three chilled items, as well fruit and veg.
The Park Wood Larder is in addition to another Community Larder in Shepway, which is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-1pm, and the MBC-run Larder at Trinity Church in the town centre.
