Golding Homes has received a Sustainable Homes Index For Tomorrow (SHIFT) 2021 silver award.

SHIFT is the sustainability standard for the housing sector. The accreditation assesses the environmental footprint of an organisation, recognising projects and achievements that have made an impact, the quality of environmental data, as well as plans and recommendations for future sustainability activities.

Tom Casey, Director of Development and Sales said: “We’re proud and delighted to receive the Silver award for our first ever SHIFT assessment. The report recognises the good work we’ve done so far. We’re committed to improving the sustainability performance of our business and our homes, making them cheaper to run for our customers”

The Sustainable Homes Index For Tomorrow (SHIFT) is a sustainability benchmark and best practice learning network. Its members represent over 2 million customers nationwide. SHIFT was developed with the support of the WWF, the Homes and Communities Agency, the UK Green Building Council and the Mayor of London.
