Golding celebrates Pride and becomes a Stonewall Diversity Champion

Golding Homes (Golding), one of Maidstone’s main housing associations has become a Stonewall Corporate Partner and will be working with this leading voice of the LGBTQ+ community to champion diversity and take a stand against discrimination and mistreatment because of their sexual orientation.

Tom Casey, Director of Development and Sales at Golding is also the executive lead for equality and diversity. He said: “We’re proud to partner with Stonewall and let customers and colleagues know how important equality is to us. We look forward to working together to champion diversity, equality and supporting positive change in society for the LGBTQ+ community. “

Liz Ward, Director of Programmes at Stonewall, (she/her) said: ‘We are delighted that Golding has decided to join our Diversity Champions programme. Golding is committed to ensuring that their lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer staff can thrive at work and we’re incredibly excited to support them with their inclusion journey.'

Golding kicked off Pride celebrations this month with a rainbow flag display at their office building at County Gate One and a presentation and discussion session for colleagues by Stonewall.
