Golding Strike Gold

We’re proud to announce that we’ve been awarded the Gold PawPrint award for Housing in the RSPCA PawPrints Awards for the second year in a row. This award recognises our commitment to animal welfare, which started in response to customers telling us they had concerns about some animals causing anti-social behaviour in their neighbourhoods.
We also received a Responsible Ownership Hero Award for embedding animal welfare into our campaigns and using data to develop compassionate housing policies that protect and support you and your pets. Our submission was strengthened by our partnership with Dave Grice from Dog Behavioural Services, who is working directly with customers, giving behavioural advice to help sustain tenancies and reduce complaints.
Georgina Pennicott, Golding Homes Head of Neighbourhoods said: “We’re delighted to receive these awards, which recognise the dedication of our colleagues, partners and community. We’re proud of our proactive support for customers and their animals and for our initiatives promoting responsible dog ownership through education, engagement, and support.”
The RSPCA PawPrints Awards, the only scheme of its kind, celebrates local authorities and public bodies for their pioneering work in animal welfare across England and Wales.
Lee Gingell, Public Affairs Manager at the RSPCA, said: “We’re delighted to recognise Golding Homes with the Gold PawPrint for Housing and the Responsible Ownership Hero Award in this year’s RSPCA PawPrints Awards. Their commitment to animal welfare is truly commendable, and we hope their example inspires others to strive for excellence.”
