Development & Regeneration
With an impressive track record in delivering high quality affordable homes and services for local people, Golding Homes has invested over £100m in Maidstone’s communities. This includes a range of projects from large scale regeneration schemes, infill housing, rural exception developments and supported housing projects.
It is through our work on regeneration that sets us apart. Working alongside the local communities and in partnership with other agencies we have transformed some of our most challenging estates. This includes the completion of two major regeneration schemes in Coombe Road, Tovil and Bell Road, Park Wood; demolishing out of date blocks and creating new homes.
Work on a £38m regeneration project to transform the heart of Park Wood in now in Phase 2 stage, and includes the demolition of 236 flats and the development of 191 high quality homes along with a new shopping area and communal facilities.
Our current development programme focuses on a diverse range of projects designed to meet local housing needs. We are proud that we have built 1000 new homes and have begun to extend our development portfolio to other parts of Kent. Visit our homes section for more information.
We work closely with local authorities, funders, architects, planners and partners to deliver high quality schemes and provide homes across all tenures from affordable housing, sheltered accommodation, shared ownership to private sale.
As part of our development programme we continue to invest in our existing homes and spend in the region of £10m a year on our investment programme.
