Neighbourhood Champions
Our Neighbourhood Champion role allows volunteers who live in homes with indoor or outdoor communal areas to assess how well the cleaning and/or grounds maintenance services are being delivered in an area.
The role is designed to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and service within our shared buildings. By carrying out regular inspections where you live, and completing an online form, Neighbourhood Champions will provide valuable feedback to our teams, ensuring that caretaking and grounds maintenance services consistently meet residents' needs. We’re currently seeking customers at Farleigh Court, Lynsted House, Hawley Court, Wrens Cross and Titchfield to become Neighbourhood Champions — February 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a fortnightly inspection of the cleaning standards in your building
- Help identify areas for improvement and highlight great service
- Work with Golding colleagues, receiving training and guidance on the service levels expected
- Receive support from Golding Homes to effectively carry out the role
- Contribute to published satisfaction levels and feedback reports
What you’ll gain:
- A direct role in improving the cleanliness and maintenance of your building and/or green spaces
- The opportunity to influence the standards of caretaking and grounds services
- The satisfaction of contributing to your community and supporting Golding in obtaining great value for money from your service charges
- Support with completing the online form. We’ll help you to access what you need to take part, so don’t worry if you’re not confident with technology
- Training and guidance on how to carry out inspections effectively
- Regular updates on the impact of your feedback
- Any reasonable out of pocket expenses will be covered
Who can apply?
- Customers who are passionate about maintaining a clean and well-kept environment
- Individuals who can commit to carrying out a fortnightly inspection and completing the online form (a mobile phone or tablet is perfect for this)
- Those who are willing to communicate constructively with Golding colleagues
