Derelict garages converted into new homes

A derelict garage site in Sutton Valence has been redeveloped to deliver three new homes in this rural community.

We've transformed the site at The Harbour, Sutton Valence, into three new, high-quality shared ownership houses, which were completed in June 2026 and have already given three local first-time buyers their first step on the property ladder.

It was important that the homes were designed to be as energy efficient as possible to improve affordability. These small development projects can make a real difference delivering much needed affordable housing within our rural communities.

Affordable housing plays a vital role in supporting and sustaining communities in rural areas. These homes help people remain in the communities where they work and have family ties, while supporting local services, resilience and long-term economic growth.
