Handmade Heroes - Come and Get Crafty with us

Handmade Heros Logo

Would you like to get crafty and make a difference?

We are looking for volunteers to get involved in our Handmade Heroes Project to create items for charity. You will be involved in making an array of different items from knitted/crochet squares for memory blankets and baby clothes, to wood burning spoons, coasters, and tote bags. All items will be donated to Making Miracles, a registered charity supporting families of high-risk pregnancies, premature babies and baby loss, and the Heart of Kent Hospice.

No experience is necessary, and the workshops are free to attend, so if you fancy trying your hand at wood burning, knitting, crocheting, and even felting then sign up today.

The workshops start on 21 June and are held at three-day centres in the Maidstone area:

Greenborough Close, Shepway

Titchfield Close, Senacre

Harbledown House, Barming

If you would like to get involved or would like more information contact our Community Development Team on com.dev@goldinghomes.org.uk or call 0300 666 2700.
