Building Safety Engagement
During October 2024, we visited our eight tall buildings to speak to customers living in them, asking about how we can better keep customers updated on what we’re doing to keep you and your family safe in your homes.
It was also an opportunity to speak to customers about the safety of the building, understand any accessibility needs and make sure you know how to evacuate in an emergency.
We also sent out a booklet and online survey to everyone aged 16 and over living in our tall buildings, asking for ideas and comments about building safety and to help everyone understand the fire protection measures in place and what to do in the event of a fire.
We’re pleased to now be able to share the final Building Safety Customer Engagement Strategy for each of our tall buildings. You can find it on your individual building page.
Thank you to everyone who spoke to us on our visits or took part in the building safety survey; your feedback was invaluable.
Building Safety & Quality Panel
This panel is focused on building safety and how we invest in our homes and neighbourhoods and will positively influence how we manage the safety of our buildings and asset investment.
Panel members will play a part in shaping the services affecting your homes and neighbourhoods, monitoring our performance and how we can improve, and develop how we communicate about our asset investment and building safety goals. The panel is due to meet for the first time in June 2025.
